Buffets are always an eat at your own risk ordeal. But for $45/PP it was NOT worth it. I came in on a weekday dinner and MOST of their sushi were left out all day, fresh batch was never remade. Meats were all gone because people kept taking more than allowed. Only thing that was fresh there were fruits and their oysters. Those items kept getting restocked. The soup area was just ok, the broths is VERY salty but better than all the foods that were provided. Skip the dim sum u less u are there during opening so it’s fresh. Staff were very attentive on clearing your table. Theres a free parking lot near by and bathroom isn’t very clean but decent to be used.

Asian centered buffet in Daly City at what I think used to be Todai back in the day, located next to Century Theaters. There is a huge parking garage connected to the building for parking. Attended a party here where they reserved the back dining room which was nice, they had TVs and they provided tables for our gifts and favors. Service was great; this is an all Asian buffet with Japanese, sushi and sashimi, soups, make your own mala tang, choose your own meats to bbq, tons of Chinese food, frogs legs, dim sum, you name it! They have a fridge where you can get your own bottled drinks too. Tons of dessert and ice cream! Good bang for your buck, the only thing is if you’re allergic to seafood. We had some people at our party that was allergic to seafood so make your own mala tang you had to be careful because of the contamination of seafood items to make or throw into the soup. My friend got soup but found a clam so she couldn’t eat it and had to be very careful. Lots of parties for a Saturday, my friend said if you didn’t get the private room to bring balloons or something to decorate or note where your area is yours.

Anyone visiting this newer buffet restaurant won't be able to stop repeatedly comparing it to the 2 or 3 previous buffet restaurants in the same location. What's new or better: the malatang/mini self-assembled hot pot bowls station was very popular with the young and old. The self-assembled teppanyaki station next to the malatang station is new, too, but almost no one tried or understood what it is. Maybe if they renamed it Mongolian BBQ, people might recognize it from the mall food courts. The limited selection at the dim sum station was mostly previously frozen buns in steamer baskets. The bbq pork buns tasted off. The cut fruit station, including canned peaches, didn't look so appealing to me. My son missed the made-to-order hand rolls at the sushi station in the previous restaurant, but still found some sushi to his liking. Gone is the scoop-to-order ice cream. Instead you will find little ice cream cups full of air in the freezers at the self-service drink station. My wife enjoyed a particular dainty chocolate cake at the dessert station. She was impressed with the clean restroom and spacious dining room. Lunch is less expensive on weekdays, but there are fewer pr

Worth the money! If you're an avid buffet fan, you'll definitely enjoy Daly Buffet. They offer a wide variety of dishes—from soups and noodles (you can even pick your own soup base), to chicken, fish, and pork viands—all of which are tasty and satisfying. The steamed section is quite impressive, though I was hoping to find siomai, which unfortunately wasn’t available during my visit. The sushi bar offers a generous selection, but the rice portions were a bit too large for my liking. Drinks are well-covered: coffee, tea, soft drinks, hot water, bottled tea, and water are all available. The place is clean and well-maintained, which adds to the dining experience. Tip: Arrive early—tables fill up quickly! Also, parking is free at the next building, which is a big plus.
